ICBC Counselling Support

If you've been involved in a motor vehicle accident, you may be eligible for counselling services through ICBC. Accidents can have lasting emotional and psychological effects, including anxiety, stress, depression, grief, trauma, or difficulty returning to everyday activities.

We provide compassionate, evidence-based counselling to support your recovery after a collision. Whether you're coping with trauma, fear of driving, chronic pain, or the emotional impact of your injuries, we'll work with you to develop practical strategies and support your healing.

In many cases, ICBC-approved counselling sessions are available without a doctor's referral during the initial treatment period following your accident. If additional sessions are needed, I can assist with the approval process and collaborate with your healthcare team and ICBC when appropriate.

My goal is to help you regain confidence, improve your emotional well-being, and support your return to the activities that matter most.

Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) Counselling

Experiencing a crime can have a profound impact on your emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of safety. If you have been affected by a violent crime, you may be eligible for counselling services through British Columbia's Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP).

I provide trauma-informed, compassionate counselling for individuals who have experienced the effects of crime, including assault, domestic violence, sexual violence, child abuse, criminal harassment, and other traumatic events. Counselling can help you process your experiences, manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, grief, and rebuild a sense of safety and resilience.

If your counselling is approved through CVAP, eligible sessions are funded by the program, allowing you to access the support you need without the financial burden. I can assist you in understanding the process and work with CVAP to ensure continuity of your care.

Island Kids Cancer Association (IKCA) Counselling Support

A childhood cancer diagnosis affects the entire family. Through our partnership with the Island Kids Cancer Association (IKCA), I provide compassionate counselling to help youth, parents, caregivers, and siblings navigate the emotional challenges that can arise throughout treatment, recovery, and beyond.

Counselling offers a safe, supportive space to process difficult emotions, build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and foster healthy family relationships. Whether you're adjusting to a new diagnosis, managing ongoing stress, coping with grief or loss, or navigating life after treatment, I am here to support you every step of the way.

My approach is family-centred, trauma-informed, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family. I am committed to helping you find strength, connection, and hope during a challenging time.
