Andrea Ballance BSW, MC, RCC

Hi, I’m Andrea!

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Since 2013, I have gained extensive experience in non-profit organizations and community mental health settings, specializing in substance use and mental health counselling for individuals, families, and groups facing a variety of challenges.

Committed to a person-centred therapeutic approach, I believe that every individual is the expert of their own experiences. I aim to foster a safe, non-judgmental and relational environment that enables people to explore their authentic selves and embark on personal healing journeys. With a focus on building trust and openness, I understand that the therapeutic process is a collaborative effort and appreciate the unique narratives of those I work alongside.

I utilize an integrative approach to therapy, blending therapeutic modalities to meet the diverse needs of people. My areas of expertise include trauma therapy, mental health, substance use issues, relational conflict, and life transitions. By customizing interventions to align with your goals and experiences, I believe this helps individuals to navigate their challenges more effectively.
