Is it time
to see yourself in a new
View?Welcome to NuVue Counselling
At NuVue Counselling, I offer counselling that is relational, supportive, and focused on real change. If you’re dealing with anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, we can work together to understand what’s happening and identify practical next steps.
I provide in-person sessions in Penticton, British Columbia and virtual sessions across Canada. Sessions are confidential, grounded, and tailored to your goals. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies with a relational style, so you feel both supported and appropriately challenged.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or unclear. My role is to help you gain insight, build skills, and move forward with greater confidence and stability.
Why NuVue Counselling?
The name NuVue Counselling was inspired by the transformative work I do with clients, particularly through EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
In EMDR sessions, clients often experience meaningful shifts in how they see themselves, others, and the world around them. Painful memories begin to lose their intensity. Self-critical beliefs soften. Long-held narratives such as “I’m not good enough” or “I’m not safe” begin to change.
Time and again, clients have shared that it feels as though they are seeing their lives from a new view — clearer, calmer, and more balanced.
That idea of a “new view” is where NuVue was born.
Therapy is not about changing who you are. It is about helping you process what has happened to you so that you can see yourself with greater compassion, relate to others with more clarity, and move forward with renewed perspective.
At NuVue Counselling, my hope is to support you in gaining your own new view — one that feels empowering, grounded, and aligned with who you truly are.
