Humanistic Person-Centred Therapy

A Respectful Approach Grounded in Your Experience

Sometimes the most meaningful change begins with having a space where you can speak openly, understand yourself more clearly and feel accepted without judgment. Humanistic Person-Centred Therapy offers a supportive relationship in which your experiences, values and needs guide the therapeutic process.

What Is Humanistic Person-Centred Therapy?

Humanistic therapy is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, self-awareness and meaningful change.

Person-centred therapy, developed through the work of psychologist Carl Rogers, places the therapeutic relationship at the heart of this process. The approach emphasizes empathy, authenticity and non-judgmental acceptance.

Rather than treating you as a collection of symptoms or assuming that someone else knows what is best for you, person-centred therapy recognizes that you are the expert on your own life.

Therapy provides a supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at a pace that feels manageable. As you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, you may begin to recognize what you need, make choices with greater confidence and relate to yourself with more compassion.

This does not mean that therapy is passive or without direction. I will listen carefully, offer reflections, ask thoughtful questions and help you notice patterns that may be difficult to see on your own.
